एक नर्स लंदन में ऑपरेशन से दो घंटे पहले मरीज़ के कमरे में घुसकर कमरे में रखे गुलदस्ते को संवारने और ठीक करने लगी।
ऐसे ही जब वो अपने पूरे लगन के साथ काम में लगी थी, तभी अचानक उसने मरीज़ से पूछा "सर आपका ऑपरेशन कौन सा डॉक्टर कर रहा है?"
नर्स को देखे बिना मरीज़ ने अनमने से लहजे में कहा "डॉ. जबसन।"
नर्स ने डॉक्टर का नाम सुना और आश्चर्य से अपना काम छोड़ते हुये मरीज़ के पास पहुँची और पूछा "सर, क्या डॉ. जबसन ने वास्तव में आपके ऑपरेशन को स्वीकार किया हैं?
मरीज़ ने कहा "हाँ, मेरा ऑपरेशन वही कर रहे हैं।"
नर्स ने कहा "बड़ी अजीब बात है, विश्वास नहीं होता"
परेशान होते हुए मरीज़ ने पूछा "लेकिन इसमें ऐसी क्या अजीब बात है?"
नर्स ने कहा "वास्तव में इस डॉक्टर ने अब तक हजारों ऑपरेशन किये हैं उसके ऑपरेशन में सफलता का अनुपात 100 प्रतिशत है । इनकी तीव्र व्यस्तता की वजह से इन्हें समय निकालना बहुत मुश्किल होता है। मैं हैरान हूँ आपका ऑपरेशन करने के लिए उन्हें फुर्सत कैसे मिली?
मरीज़ ने नर्स से कहा "ये मेरी अच्छी किस्मत है कि डॉ जबसन को फुरसत मिली और वह मेरा ऑपरेशन कर रहे हैं ।
नर्स ने एक बार बार कहा "यकीन मानिए, मेरा हैरत अभी भी बरकरार है कि दुनिया का सबसे अच्छा डॉक्टर आपका ऑपरेशन कर रहा है!!"
इस बातचीत के बाद मरीज को ऑपरेशन थिएटर में पहुंचा दिया गया, मरीज़ का सफल ऑपरेशन हुआ और अब मरीज़ हँस कर अपनी जिंदगी जी रहा है।
मरीज़ के कमरे में आई महिला कोई साधारण नर्स नहीं थी, बल्कि उसी अस्पताल की मनोवैज्ञानिक महिला डॉक्टर थी, जिसका काम मरीजों को मानसिक और मनोवैज्ञानिक रूप से संचालित करना था, जिसके कारण उसे संतुष्ट करना था जिस पर मरीज़ शक भी नहीं कर सकता था। और इस बार इस महिला डॉक्टर ने अपना काम मरीज़ के कमरे में गुलदस्ता सजाते हुये कर दिया था और बहुत खूबसूरती से मरीज़ के दिल और दिमाग में बिठा दिया था कि जो डॉक्टर इसका ऑपरेशन करेगा वो दुनिया का मशहूर और सबसे सफल डॉक्टर है जिसका हर ऑपरेशन सफल ऑपरेशन होता है और इसी पॉजिटिविटी ने मरीज के अन्दर के डर को खत्म कर दिया था। और वह ऑपरेशन थियेटर के अन्दर यह सोचकर गया कि अब तो मेरा आपरेशन सक्सेज होकर रहेगा , मैं बेकार में इतनी चिन्ता कर रहा था।
